My Intro

Hi all,

My passions are God, Family, Homeschool, and encouraging stay at home moms/housewives. My blog Peace Creek on the Prairie (http://peacecreekontheprairie), covers all of those. I am the mother to six children. B age 10.5, G 7.5, G 5, B 4, B 2.5, and G 17 mos. Three of those have special needs in learning issues, 10.5 dysgraphia, along the Asperger spectrum, and SPD, 4 yr old has speech delays, and SPD tendencies, and 17 mo has SPD, and possible hearing and speech issues. 17 mo had a rough start, full term but very sick, spending 10 days in NICU/Special care, and will prayerfully outgrow some of her issues.
I am married to one awesome farmer, and love to drive tractors, combines, trucks and such when it works out for me.
I love cooking, baking, gardening, sewing, scrapbooking, nature study, and blog designing.

Hi. My name is Rodna, and a am a wife to my wonderful husband Michael, of 13 years, and mother to two wonderful children, ages 13, and 5.
I strive to be a Godly wife and mother, and am making changes toward that improvement all of the time.
I am eager to learn more, and keep working towards what God would have me be.

My Natural Motherhood Journey

I am Melissa, Multi Tasking Mama. I am a wife to Mike, mama to three boys (17, 14 and 12) and stay at home mom. I am a professional organizer, writer and speaker. I have a passion for helping women discover and live the life God designed for them. I am so excited to be co-hosting this group with Betty and look forward to hearing everyone's thoughts on the all the books we read during this book club, including our first, Passionate Housewives Desperate for God.

I will have to see if I can get this book. Money is tight right now. Can you get it at Borders or a regular bookstore, or do you have to order it?

Violet, I haven't read Created in a while. I had borrowed it from the library. I need to get it one day to have. I do own both of the Daughters of Sarah books. Those are great too. We did a study on them.

We have been blessed with seven amazing children, 5 here at home, and 2 whom we have been working to bring home from Guatemala for over 5 years. I'm Sherry, wife to a wonderful husband for 24 years and a homeschooling mama of 7, DS 20, DS 16, DD 14, DS 11, DS 8, DD 5, and DD 5. With a daughter in her early teens I am really excited to be learning more about being a Godly wife so that I can pass on to her what I have had to learn the hard way. I love to craft, crochet, read, take pictures, and am learning to scrapbook. We live in Ireland (moved here almost two years ago) and have been enjoying learning to live here.

Hi! My name is also Dawn, and I also have 7 blessings! Go figure.

I've been married to my fantastic husband for 19 1/2 years. Our children are:
dd16, dd12, dd10, ds7, dd4, ds2, dd4mo. We also have 3 angels we never got to hold.

My dh is a pastor working to become a licensed counselor. He's struggling with this because the state wants him to "leave the religion behind" and he is unwilling to deny Christ.

We've been homeschooling for 11 years. I actually can't wait to get started this year!
